Ralen Jones is a Portland-based entrepreneur and events manager with a profound passion for connecting people. A Bay Area native and Oregon State University alum, Ralen’s love affair with the Rose City since arriving in 2015 is what drives him to serve the local community through his work with PDXBE. With any downtime he can find, Ralen eagerly pursues his goal of continuing to travel the world, building upon the list of 23 countries he’s already visited.

Kayla Washington is a born-and-raised Portlander who brings a wealth of office management experience to PDXBE operations and event coordination.  Compelled to activism after the tragic loss of her father, Jason Washington, she has been a powerful force for change ever since. Outside of her work, she loves being a full-time mom to her daughter, Kai, and catching sporting events when she can.

Jarren Simmons is a graphic designer and multi-media artist living in Portland, Oregon. He is the Creative Director and Founder of 40S Creative, a design firm focused on digital marketing, branding and social advocacy. When he's not creating visual art you can find Jarren making music, roller skating, or cultivating house plants.

Ashley Wu is a Taiwanese American graphic designer based in Brooklyn. Generalist by trade. When she’s not designing you can find Ashley developing a traditional art education startup, trying not to kill her 17 remaining plants, or convincing people to follow her 42 lb shiba inu on instagram (@harukinsta)!

Doug Lazenby is a graphic designer and visual creator based in Portland, Oregon. When he is not designing or creating art you can find Doug running with his energetic pup, frequenting one of Portlands' many ramen spots, or planning his next trip.

Jackson Manning is an L.A.-based advertising executive with over a decade of experience developing campaigns and digital marketing initiatives. Originally hailing from Corvallis, Jackson tries to make frequent visits home with his wife, Nicole, and two-year-old daughter, Lisbon, whom he’s raising to appreciate the value of good berries and overcast days.

Jesse Yapi is a native Oregonian living in Las Vegas, Nevada and working as a Court Specialist for the Las Vegas Municipal Court. When he’s not in a courtroom, he’s sharpening his software engineering chops. In his spare time, he’s most likely with his wife and three children at a sporting event, a show on the Las Vegas Strip, or just enjoying the sunny weather lounging around the pool.

Jordyn Jenkins is a born and raised LA native that has lived in Portland since 2015. She grew up as an actress working on commercial, television, and movie sets which now has inspired her to work in the field of set design. In 2019, she started her own event production business called “JM Joints” specializing in interactive installations to create distinctive experiences. Jordyn loves a good themed party, and enjoys surprising her loved ones with elaborative decor for special holiday occasions!

My name is Anthony, most call me AJ. I developed a passion for photography out of the necessary for great brand representation through imagery for local businesses in the inner city. Starting my own sneaker company, then branching out to digital consulting and working with brand giants like Apple, Nike, and Adidas - this canon camera has taken me places I would have never imagined. The goal is to take on photography full time and continue to work with individuals who are passionate about their craft.
